Creating really easy reels is just a few taps away.
The trick is to get short portrait video clips when you’re out and about. Only 2-5 seconds long – stand still or slowly pan, and then get on with your day.
These can be easily added to a great montage!

Five-minute reels
1 – start by creating a reel and selecting “Videos” from the drop down2 – add your montage-worthy clips. Select them in the order you want them to appear in the video – I recommend 5-10 videos.3 – Insta will suggest some trending audio, or you can use the “Search” function.4 – when you’ve picked your music, your clips will sync to the track and you can preview the reel.5 – you can now edit as normal! Add a filter or some text if you wish. If you “edit video” you can choose to make clips longer or reorder them.6 – I always recommend picking a cover pic for your reel, and previewing how it’ll look on the grid.7 – that’s it! You’re ready to roll.
